Ecobarter is an integrated platform that collects, tokenizes and transforms everyday waste materials into new high value, long lasting consumer and industrial products. 

We develop innovative technology-enabled systems including Nigeria’s first Reverse Vending Machines to enable a new generation of Africans to sort and recycle wastes while earning cash rewards through our mobile application to power their livelihoods.

Beyond recovering and diverting wastes from dumps, we work with clusters of local community women & youths as “production partners” to convert accumulated plastic wastes, especially those hard-to-recycle by mechanical processes, into fabrics for new lifestyle products like bags, shoes and clothing. This work enables these typically underserved groups to earn a sustainable income to build back their lives better.
